My son and I fished the Salmon River in Pulaski, NY on Sept. 28,29,30, and Oct 1. We were on vacation, so we started each day about 9 or 10 and were off the river by about 5. We had about 50 Salmon on during the 4 days but only landed about 10. We were not able to follow them if they started down river, so most times we would just hold them until they turned back, pulled loose, or broke our line. It was very interesting to see 25-35 lb salmon running the river and jumping out of the water. The salmon run starts about the beginning of Sept. and runs until about the end of Oct.

Nice fish Bill. Do Salmon have teeth? That one looks like it has a fang.

Ed, you are right, they don't have teeth in the front of their mouth, they have fangs. They are not a fish that you would want to lip.

Nice fish Bill! I have landed fish 2X that size in the Muskegon River in Michigan from a 12 foot row boat. Lots of fun to catch and they put on quite a show. My largest was 38 lb king salmon. Most averaged 25 lbs.
