Anyone know of a local shop that cleans and repairs reels? I have several I'd like to get done.
E-mail me if you do at ejeedonnelly@aol.com

sfttackle.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=page.display&page_id=21 Ed, not sure if the attached link will work, but last year I used Susquehanna Fishing Tackle. I decided to ship them and he shipped back - actually saved vs gas cost and time. He did a great job. He will get jammed by Feb-Mar, but if you get them out now or early Jan, the turnaround time should be quick. This year I didn't fish enough to get anything dirty....

Thanks Murph. I used them last year. They did a good job. I was just trying to get someone closer to home.

You could do it yourself, nothing closer to home than that.

Kenny...I've done several myself in the past. One of my reels needs a new spring and another needs a new bearing. I'd rather have someone do them who knows what they're doing.

Where to you get parts? I need some stuff for Ambassador. Better, cheaper, easier than factory?

Yeah Ken...where do you get the parts? Mugzz said he'd give me a private lesson on reel maintenance...I might need a few parts when we get into it.
Drew...apparently Muggzz's talents go beyond Shimano. He seems pretty confident he can autopsy my Diawas and clean them up.
